General Rules

  • Alcoholic Beverages are not allowed
  • Please deposit bagged trash (household trash only) in the closest available dumpster to your campsite. Please keep doors shut to dumpsters to keep the animals out.
  • No fireworks of any kind are allowed in the park
  • Firearms, ammunition, knives, and weapons of any kind are not allowed
  • The following flags are allowed to be displayed at your site and throughout the campground, American, Canadian, Military, including Air Force, Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Coast Guard, POW, MIA, and veterans, sports and decorative flags such as holiday, seasonal or garden.
  • Rocks should never be removed from the creek for any reason
  • Leave trees and limbs in the woods
  • Shoes & shirt required when entering campground store
  • Proper swim attire is required in beach and pool area
    • Swim attire must be appropriate for a family environment
    • Inappropriate swim attire:  Jeans, cut offs, under garments, swim wear that is revealing or has messaging that depicts violence, nudity, vulgarity, or discriminatory language or graphics

Campsite Reservations

  • Check In is 2pm
  • Check out is 12pm
  • Quiet hours are 11pm-8am
  • No more than 2 vehicles per campsite
  • All sites do not have fire rings. Campfires can only be built in existing rings. You may use a fire ring on legs. DO NOT build new rings or move existing fire rings.
  • Fire rings are available for rental in the camp store
  • Campers may not sell merchandise items without approval of campground management
  • No tents allowed on RV campsites. 1 camping unit per site.
  • Site Guests must obtain day pass from park office
    • $5 per person per day per visit

Refund/ Cancelation Policy

  • Within 7 days 50% of your total reservation cost is non-refundable
  • 8 or more days before your reservation a full refund can be issued minus $3 reservation fee

Pool Rules

  • Pool Hours 10am-6pm
  • No swimming alone
  • No lifeguard on duty
  • No floats in the pool
  • No children under the age of 13 should ever be in the water without an adult
  • No dogs allowed in pool area
  • No rock throwing

Bicycles

  • Bike Helmets are not required but highly recommended
  • All traffic signs apply to all riders
  • No riding after dark
  • You must be 16 years or older to operate any battery assisted or battery operated modes of transportation. (E-Bikes, E-Scooters, ETC.)
  • Small children should always be accompanied by an adult
  • Reckless behavior could result in loss of biking privileges during your visit

Pets

We love pets, so we do not charge an additional fee. That being said, we would like all of our visiting pups to have a happy and safe experience when camping with us. Service dogs are welcome, but leash and breed rules do apply.

  • Good behavior is required of all dogs and dog owners. Please be aware that there are many guests here who do not enjoy hearing a barking dog, so if this applies, you may wish to make other arrangements for your furry friends.
  • All dogs are required to be on a leash and under the control and observation of their owner or caretaker at all times. We do not allow any pet to be left in a campsite unattended at any time.
  • We do not allow dogs to be left on a chain or leash that is tied or strapped down. Kennels, crates, and cages are not permitted outside your tent or camper. Dogs should be inside your tent or camper with you at night.
  • Leashes should be no longer than 6 feet and are required. Dogs cannot be walked off a leash at any time. Dogs are also not to be walked by children under 12 years of age unless they are accompanied by an adult.
  • All pets MUST be picked up after immediately.
  • We have a zero-tolerance policy for any pet left alone in a vehicle
  • Our major insurance provider requires that we cannot accept any breeds that have a history of unfriendly or aggressive behaviors. These breeds include: Pitbulls, Dobermans, Rottweilers, and Chows. We apologize for the inconvenience. Thank you in advance for your compliance.

Golf Cart Rules

  • All golf carts must be registered at the campground office
  • Proof of Liability insurance must be provided by the owner and a copy must be on file.
  • Owners are responsible for any personal injury or property damage caused by golf cart operation. Steel Creek Park assumes no liability for accidents, theft, damage, injury or any other occurrence or mishap caused by golf cart operation on park property.
  • Gas golf carts are not allowed. They must be electric golf carts only.
  • All golf carts will be inspected for proper equipment. All carts must have at least one operating headlight, and must have operating tail lights and/or red reflectors. Flash lights are NOT acceptable to use as a headlight. Only DOT approved tires or regular turf tires will be allowed on golf carts.
  • Anyone operating a golf cart must have their drivers license with them while operating the golf cart and must be at least 21 years old.
  • Golf carts may not carry more than the number of passengers for which they were designed. No riding on the back of golf carts standing up. Children may not ride in the laps of other passengers.
  • Golf cart operation is limited strictly to use on established roads. Please drive in designated areas only. Do not short-cut across grassy areas or other campsites. Obey all Posted signs.
  • Operators must avoid using congested and heavily populated areas as a thoroughfare.
  • Pedestrians always have the Right of Way.
  • Do not enter or exit through the front gate of the campground.
  • Operators must observe safe driving practices. Avoid excessive speed and unsafe maneuvers. (Speed limit in the campground is 10 MPH)
  • Golf carts must not be parked in a way that interferes with vehicle or pedestrian traffic.
  • Golf carts shall not be operated at any time between 11 PM and 7 AM. (Except for on-duty staff and/or security personnel). Golf cart operators must observe established quiet hours.
  • Never leave the keys in the golf cart and always engage the brake when parking.
  • Open display or use of alcohol on golf carts is prohibited

Golf Cart Registration Rates:

  • $12 a night
  • Included in week (7 Nights)
  • Included in monthly (30 Nights)
  • Included in seasonal

Seasonal Campers

  • Grass on sites must be maintained by site occupant
  • Easy ups must be taken down when site is not in use
  • Camper awnings is the only approved covering on campsite
  • No large stacks of firewood (the longer it sits the more snakes you will see)
  • Make sure firepit placement is safe
  • No ground fires
  • No trash left on site
  • No tarps left on campers for extending amounts of time
  • Gravel can be provided for site functionality
    • We will not provide gravel for cosmetic/decorative reasons
  • Deck Rules
    • No more than 8ft wide
    • No more than the length of your camper
    • No more than 8 inches off the ground
    • Nothing is to be stored under decks
    • No refrigerators on decks
  • Camper Sales
    • No campers are to be sold, posted, or listed within the campground
    • Sites are non-transferable
  • Site Guests must obtain day pass from park office
    • $5 per person per day per visit

Steel Creek Park reserves the right to change any or all rates at any time at its discretion.
Failure to follow any of outlined campground rules could result in termination of reservation or seasonal contract.
